Demister Pads, also known as Mist Eliminators, is manufactured according to customer's specifications, Used in Oil Refinery and Various Chemical Projects.

Demister pads, or mist eliminators, are used for removing water and oil droplets suspended in air or other gases. They offer efficient solutions for efficiently trapping, separating, or coalescing gas or liquid particles from process streams.

Demister pads come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, including discs, flat pads, rectangles, and circular tubes, circular to rectangular and even triangula. Depending on the application, they may be made from materials such as glass fiber cloth, polypropylene, stainless steel, copper, galvanized steel, MONEL, and other combinations of these materials. Demister mesh materials have good resistance to corrosion and temperature stability, as well as adequate strength for the desired performance.

The size of the demister pads should be chosen carefully depending on the application. This includes the area where the pad is positioned and the number of square meters per cubic meter that is needed for effective operation. Additionally, the thickness of the pads should be selected depending on the pressure and temperature of the system.

The most commonly used demister pads are made of stainless steel of various grades. Stainless steel mesh demisters offer excellent corrosion resistance and make ideal filter elements in offshore applications.

Copper demister pads are mesh pads made from copper mesh commonly used in the oil industry. These pads are used to reduce the droplets of liquid or gas suspended in air or other gases, providing an efficient solution for removing suspended particles such as water vapor, droplets of oil and other gaseous material from process streams. Copper mesh demisters are ideal for low flow applications where high efficiency and superior performance are required.

Galvanized steel demister pads are widely used in many industries and applications due to their high efficiency, durability, and long life spans. They are commonly used for dust collection, liquid/gas separation, oil mist elimination, and condensate removal. Compared to stainless steel, galvanized steel demister pads are typically more cost-effective and generally available in larger diameters.
