Demister pads are a type of mesh pad used for removing water and oil droplets suspended in air or other gases. They offer an efficient solution for efficiently trapping, separating, or coalescing gas or liquid particles from process streams. The material selected depends on the application.

Monel is also highly corrosion resistant and is able to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. Copper is lighter and more conductive than both stainless and Monel, making it ideal for electrical applications. Galvanized materials are much cheaper than the other three and offer good corrosion resistance, however they lack the same level of strength and durability.
